Clomed in Bodybuilding
Clomed has a binding effect on the sex glands and hypothalamus. In the medical field, it’s used by women to increase pregnancy chances and by men with idiopathic oligospermia. Athletes using anabolic and androgenic steroids take Clomed to maintain their physical state.
The body’s natural testosterone production is reduced when using steroid medications. Clomed helps restore the hypothalamus-pituitary-testicles axis, responsible for testosterone production. Recovery time depends on cycle care and muscle loss prevention.
Principle of Operation: Why Clomed is Needed during PCT
In post-cycle therapy, athletes often use supplements to restore testosterone production. This medicine affects gonadotropic hormones and estrogen receptors. It increases gonadotropic hormone concentration and normalizes testosterone levels in 2-6 weeks.
How to Take Clomed during Post-Cycle Therapy
Do not take Clomed during the steroid cycle; use aromatase inhibitors instead. Start Clomed after the cycle ends. Dosage depends on the anabolic element’s potency. Begin PCT after the active steroid ingredient’s half-life, starting with a high dose and gradually decreasing it.
- Very heavy cycle: Gradually decrease from 150 mg to 25 mg.
- Heavy cycle: 100 mg for 15 days, then 50 mg for 15 days, then 25 mg for 15 days.
- Moderate cycle: 50 mg for 30 days, then 25 mg for 15 days.
- Light cycle: 50 mg for 15 days, then 25 mg for 15 days (every other day).
- Very light cycle: 50 mg for 15 days, then 25 mg for 15 days.
Duration varies individually based on the cycle’s complexity.
Side Effects of Taking Clomed
Clomed is generally safe, but rare side effects include headaches, dizziness, drowsiness, insomnia, digestive issues, nausea, vomiting, visual impairment, and increased clotting risk. Drinking water during PCT can prevent clotting.
