Advantages of Medication Intake
Intake of anabolic steroids can affect the liver, causing disturbances in its functioning.
To protect the liver from the harmful effects of AAS, it’s necessary to take hepatoprotectors. Consult a specialist when choosing hepatoprotectors, as not all medications in this class offer the same level of liver protection.
Heptral, also known as Ademetionine, is a medication that minimizes the negative effects of anabolic steroids on the liver. Its active ingredient, ademetionine, is naturally present in body tissues and fluids. Heptral provides liver protection and acts as an antidepressant, promoting tissue regeneration, slowing fibrosis, and offering antioxidant effects.
Long-term use of Heptral usually results in improved liver function and enhanced mood.
Use in Bodybuilding of Heptral
Many bodybuilders have tried anabolic steroids, and for some, it’s an essential part of their sports life.
Regardless of whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned champion in bodybuilding, Heptral is a must-have medication for liver protection.
This medicine is commonly used in post-cycle therapy and to alleviate depressive syndromes. Bodybuilders with hepatic pain syndrome should include Heptral in their steroid courses.
In bodybuilding, Heptral is often administered via injections and is considered one of the best hepatoprotectors for post-cycle use.
Heptral Contraindications
Do not use if you are hypersensitive to the active ingredient or any other element in the medication.
Not suitable for individuals with genetic defects affecting the methionine cycle or causing homocystinuria and hyperhomocysteinemia.
Method of Use and Dosage
Start treatment with parenteral use and transition to tablets. Divide the daily tablet dose into 2-3 doses, to be swallowed without chewing. Tablets dissolve in the intestine, releasing ademetionine in the duodenum. Take tablets between meals for optimal absorption.

Heptral Side Effects
Heptral is generally well tolerated, but some patients may experience nausea, dyspeptic disorders, heartburn, gastralgia, sleep disturbances, and allergic reactions. Contact your doctor if you experience unusual reactions.
