Riboxin Active Ingredients:

- 1 tablet contains 200 mg of inosine;
Inactive Ingredients:
solani amylum, corn starch, sugar, stearic acid, mixture for film coat Opadry II Yellow 33G32563 (indigotin (E 132); sunset yellow FCF (E 110); hypromellose; lactose, monohydrate; polyethylene glycol; quinoline yellow (E 104); titanium dioxide (E 171); triacetin).
Riboxin Presentation:
Riboxin is produced in capsules, tablets, and solution for injections.
Pharmacological Properties:
Inosine (Riboxin) is a metabolic element, a stimulant of biochemical processes, a precursor of ATP. It increases energy balance, improves coronary circulation and metabolic processes of the myocardium. It provides antihypoxic effect. It is taken in cases of ischemic heart diseases (myocardial infarction, angina pectoris), cardiomyopathy, heart rhythm disturbances, myocarditis, myocardial dystrophy, liver diseases (hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, fatty liver), gastric ulcer, and duodenal ulcer, open-angle glaucoma.
Riboxin Effects:
- Inosine is a purine derivative, a precursor of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), and is a vital source of energy for bodybuilders.
- Inosine stimulates the synthesis of nucleotides, enhances the activity of certain enzymes of the Krebs cycle.
- As a nucleoside, inosine can penetrate into cells and increase the energy balance of the myocardium.
- It improves coronary circulation and metabolic processes of the myocardium. It provides an antihypoxic effect.

Method of Use and Dosage:
Orally, Riboxin is recommended to be taken before meals. The daily dose of Riboxin is from 0.6 to 2.4 grams. The first two days the patient takes the medication in a dosage of one tablet or capsule 3 to 4 times a day. If there are no allergic reactions, then from the third day, it is possible to increase the dosage to 2.4 g per day. The course of treatment can last from 4 weeks to 3 months.
Contraindications:
Inosine hypersensitivity, gout, severe renal failure.
Side Effects:
Inosine is generally well tolerated; in some cases, bradycardia, itching, flushing of the skin are possible; in cases of an allergic reaction, the medication is canceled. In rare cases, there is an increase in the concentration of uric acid in the blood. In case of prolonged use in large doses, exacerbation of gout is possible.
Storage Terms and Conditions:
Riboxin is stored in a cool, dry, and dark place. The shelf life of the medicinal product is 2 years. It is strictly forbidden to use the medication after the expiration date.
