Samir (Samyr) contains the active substance adenosylmethionine, a natural metabolite present in all tissues and body fluids. It functions as a remethylation coenzyme, including essential central enzymes, and serves as a precursor to thiol compounds such as cysteine and glutathione. Glutathione is a primary intracellular antioxidant responsible for detoxification processes in the body. It effectively increases the content of glutamine in the liver, as well as cysteine and taurine in the plasma.
