Neurotropin vials 5%, 2 ml, #10 Solution

Composition

Each vial contains 2 ml of a 5% solution of Neurotropin, a non-protein extract derived from the inflamed skin of rabbits inoculated with vaccinia virus. This biologically derived substance is purified and used for its analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.

Indications

• Neuralgia (e.g., trigeminal neuralgia, postherpetic neuralgia)
• Myalgia and arthralgia
• Lower back pain
• Cancer-associated pain
• Postoperative or post-traumatic pain
• Insomnia and anxiety associated with chronic pain

Pharmacological Properties

Neurotropin exerts its analgesic effects through modulation of pain transmission in the central nervous system. Dosage and Administration

• Standard adult dosage: 1–2 vials (2–4 ml) per day

Contraindications

• Known hypersensitivity to Neurotropin or any component of the solution
• Severe renal impairment
• History of seizures

Precautions
