Pharmacologic effect

Hepatoprotector. Active ingredients are essential phospholipids (medication EPL), the main elements in the structure of the cell membrane and cell organelles of the liver. EPLs provide a normalizing effect on the metabolism of lipids, proteins, and on the detoxification function of the liver; they restore and preserve the cellular structure of the liver and phospholipid-dependent enzymatic systems; inhibit the formation of connective tissue in the liver.

Abuse of fatty, smoked food, and alcohol leads to a violation of the cellular structure of the liver. Most medications, steroids, and dietary supplements negatively affect this organ.

Even such a healthy product as yogurt can contain preservatives, flavors, and dyes providing a detrimental effect on the liver.

Essentiale contains essential phospholipids, natural medications rich in saturated fatty acids.

These medications are similar in structure to liver cells. Phospholipids enter the liver through the blood and replace damaged cells.

Indications and usage:

• Protection of the liver from metabolites during extreme physical exertion.
• Fatty degeneration of the liver of various etiologies.
• Medicinal liver damages.
• Chronic hepatitis.
• Liver dysfunction because of complications from other diseases.

Essentiale in bodybuilding

Intake of steroids inevitably leads to liver damage. Even if a sportsman does not feel discomfort after taking chemotherapy, medications provide a destructive effect on the body.

Before and after a cycle of steroids, it is advisable to undergo an examination and donate blood for analysis.

While taking anabolic steroids, it is recommended to take Essentiale in tablets to prevent liver dysfunctions.

In order to cleanse the liver from the effects of taking steroids, bodybuilders are advised to take the medication according to the following scheme.

Regular liver cleansing after taking steroids can help prevent health problems.

Essentiale is much cheaper than other hepatoprotectors that are commonly recommended in bodybuilding.

Method of use and dosage

It is recommended to start treatment with combined parenteral and enteral use.

The solution for intravenous injections is used in 2-4 ampoules per day. The contents of the ampoules are pre-diluted in a syringe, preferably with the patient’s blood, in a 1:1 ratio.

Capsules are taken 2 pieces 2-3 times a day with meals, with a little water. The course of use is 3-4 weeks and, if necessary, can be prolonged or repeated.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the medication.

Essentiale® should not be prescribed to newborns and premature infants, as the medication contains benzyl alcohol.

Special security measures

Use only a clear solution.

Medication is incompatible with electrolyte solutions (saline, Ringer’s solution, etc.).

Do not mix in one syringe with other medications.

Medication should be slowly used intravenously (intravenously).

Essentiale® solution for intravenous injection should not be used intramuscularly as it can cause local irritation.

Caution: Essentiale® solution for intravenous use contains 0.6% alcohol (by volume).

Side effects

In some cases, the use of high doses of Essentiale® can cause disorders of the gastrointestinal tract (diarrhea).

In other cases, hypersensitivity reactions, rash, pruritus, urticaria, and reactions at the injection site can occur.
